Individual psychotherapy

Therapy can extend beyond just talking about your problems.

I understand how difficult life can be. Whether it's trauma, past experiences, or present difficulties, you’re struggling emotionally and feeling disconnected from life, your relationships, and yourself. The stressors you’re facing are weighed down by the intense emotions, causing you to feel stuck or lost in how to cope.

Therapy with me is a process of exploration. Our work together will help you develop a sense of joy. Joy doesn't necessarily mean being "happy" all the time; it means finding a sense of peace and presence through both the good and the bad— learning to navigate the storms and rough tidal waves of life with a deeper understanding of yourself and tools to ride out those waves.

I tailor therapy to fit your specific needs. I also provide resources, exercises, and reflection prompts for you to do in between sessions, to enhance your growth in an engaging and collaborative way. I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral and holistic approaches, pulling the most from:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • Compassion-Focused Therapy

Mind-body connection are at the core of holistic healing; I teach all clients about how to practice mindfulness and integrate practices into sessions so that you can experience first-hand the embodied feelings of presence, acceptance, compassion, and gratitude and learn how to cultivate these aspects on your own.

My main goal is to empower you, to feel more equipped to manage the lows, and enhance the highs, of life.
