Holistic therapy for clarity, ease, and a path forward.
for individuals and couples in CA & NY
You feel ready to “do the work”, but have no idea how.
You might be in constant mental spirals or constantly overwhelmed. You know there’s a better way to move through life but feel lost on what to do. Perhaps you’ve tried therapy and felt all you got was validation.
Well you’re in the right place. With a compassionate space, guidance, and tools that truly help, life can start to feel easier.
I’m Nira and I’m so glad you’re here.
Everyone has inner resilience.
As much as we would like to, we cannot “get rid” of difficult emotions, thoughts and experiences. But we can learn how to adapt. We can train our mind to process information in a more useful way; learns tools to offer safety, support, and regulation during intense moments; and shift our focus to what’s meaningful and fulfilling, even in tough moments.
As a first-generation South Asian therapist and yoga/meditation instructor, I blend Eastern and Western techniques to help clients deeply connect with themselves, heal and grow.
Adaptive coping mechanisms are within all of us— we have an inner resilience that can allow us to not only feel more grounded, but thrive. It takes some tools and inner work, but that’s why I’m here— to guide you every step of the way.
“ If you get the inside right, the outside will fall into place."

my specialties
My goal is for you to become your own therapist.
Holistic therapy is an integrative approach, that considers the whole person— mind, body, emotions and spirit. My therapeutic style is active, intentional, and collaborative. Going beyond traditional talk therapy, I provide clients with resources & practices to engage with outside of session, and lead mindfulness and somatic practices in session. My approach to therapy is supported by a lens of intersectionality, taking into account all parts of your identity.
Personal growth should not be limited to talk therapy just once a week; lasting change unfolds when you’re empowered with intentional tools to carry transformation into your daily life.
-
I help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns that fuel anxiety and the need to be perfect, dismantle self-limiting beliefs, and learn how to regulate the nervous system with the discomfort of “flaws”.
-
For folks feeling down or stuck in life, I help them uncover and heal core wounds, learn how to self-soothe, and identify what would give their life meaning and purpose.
-
I guide clients to explore different parts of their identity, identify what values feel aligned v. values they adopted, and learn to regulate the unique distress that comes with being a part of minority groups.
-
Dating in this modern age presents unique and emotionally stressful challenges. I help clients reframe their dating mindset, lift out of hopelessness, and deepen self-worth in order to navigate dating in a healthier way.
-
I work with couples to break out of negative emotion cycles, improve communication and conflict repair, and create deeper connection.

How we’ll work together
Free consultation call
During this call, we’ll discuss your concerns, what has and hasn’t worked for you so far, and the type of support you’re looking for with individual or couples therapy. We’ll assess if therapy feels like a good fit on both ends. If not, I’ll direct you to directories and resources to help you connect with the best support for you.
Beginning sessions
We’ll begin our work intentionally by making therapy/growth goals. Around session 4, we will check in to review your plan, which is tailored to your specific needs. Therapy sessions will be a combination of insight-oriented discussions, to help you uncover a deeper understanding of yourself, as well as psychoeducation and holistic practices, to teach you how to regulate and connect with yourself and/or your partner.
Active engagement
Along the way, I will send you resources and practices to guide the meaningful changes you’re creating. This can include specific reflection/journaling prompts, worksheets, meditation practices, recommendations for articles, books, and podcasts, and access to the client resource center. I also offer personalized yoga and meditation, which can compliment your journey or be used on its own.
